Global EcoVillage Forms Strategic Alliance with Village Habitat Design, LLC
GEV has entered a non-exclusive, non-competition agreement with Village Habitat Design, LLC of Atlanta, GA. Under the agreement, VHD will provide consulting services in multiple phases of our projects, including:
VHD brings more than experience in sustainable community planning and design. They also bring credentials for producing only the highest level of sustainable community. This will not only greatly accelerate the recognition of GEV as the blue-ribbon brand, but will enhance our credibility with local authorities.
Internationally recognized for excellence in sustainable community planning, Village Habitat Design, LLC works from a 30 year family history of conservation design. In 2001 the firm received the United Nation's top award for sustainable community planning, the World Habitat Award. since that time they have received more Atlanta Regional Commission Awards of Excellence than any other firm. Recent projects include greenspace zoning for 40,000 acres of Atlanta's fulton County, and the sustainable planning for the island nation of the Turks & Caicos. "
